I'm not a big fan of sparkles. I like sparkly things in nature, like sunlight on fish eggs or headlights on asphalt or disco balls. Wait...the last two aren't nature. Basically I just don't like sparkly clothes and purses and shoes.
Anyway, today I really like sparkles! That's because Sparkling Reviews is giving away stuff. Stuff you don't want to miss out on, like computers and iPads and stuff. Why? Because...actually that's a good question. This must be a ruse. I mean Apple products? Well, it's worth a shot. And I didn't want to just tell you about the giveaway (for extra entries), because that's boring. When things get boring, I turn to the dictionary. That's one way to spruce up my not-boring life.
(This is taken right from dictionary.com. My comments are in fuchsia, because obviously I'm ultra girly if I'm writing about sparkles.)
verb
1. to issue in or as if in little sparks, as fire or light: The candlelight sparkled in the crystal.
I love this. "in or as if in"? I thought dictionaries were supposed to be lucid.
I love this too. Who wouldn't want to "emit little sparks"?
3. to shine or glisten with little gleams of light, as a brilliant gem; glitter; coruscate.
Apparently everything related to sparkles is "little."
4. to effervesce, as wine.
Haha. Reina laughed, as wine.
5. to be brilliant, lively, or vivacious.
That's me, alright.
By the way, there's nothing wrong with liking fuchsia or sparkles.

So go check out the Sparkling Reviews blog, and enjoy the beginning of Daylight Saving Time. I hear it's the best day of the year.
